Sept. 2008
Deirdre is once again exhibiting her work at Sculpture in Context at the National Botanical Gardens, Dublin from the 4th of Sept- 17th Oct. 2008. Her work can be seen in the gallery area above reception for the duration of the show.
2008
Deirdre is now well settled in her new studio beside her home and is concentrating on a new body of glasswork, which she hopes to launch later in 2008.
2007
In response to a childhood of nature walks in the National Botanical Gardens, Dublin, Deirdre exhibited six striking and reflective hanging panels in the gallery there during the Sculpture in Context show in 2007 (see detail image to right) Some of this work was then exhibited in the Christmas show at the Wexford Arts Centre.
2005-2007
Deirdre’s sculptural pieces received much acclaim in ‘40 Shades of Green’, an exhibition that toured globally with the Crafts Council of Ireland over the last two years.
