Most of Deirdre's work is made to commission. This ensures a personal and unique piece for each client.
Over the years Deirdre has made large and small-scale glass works for a wide range of clients including the OPW (Office of Public Works), the Dublin Dockland Development Authority and JCDecaux. Her largest piece to date was a 60sq metre glass wall for a restaurant in Dublin city.
In a domestic setting her work has included floor to ceiling glass room dividers, fire screens and decorative wall panels.
Deirdre also designs pieces in materials other than glass. The most recent was with the Lismullen National School, Co. Meath. This three-month project involved all 233 primary school pupils, designing and creating four ceramic mosaic wall panels to celebrate the school's 50th anniversary.
